Teachers
Bumblebees--2 year olds
Gennifer Clay is graduate of Gulf Shores High and has four years experience at Holy Spirt Day School.
Brandy Edmonds has a background in nursing from the University of South Alabama. She has been a regular volunteer aid at Gulf Shores Elementary School and has been a coach in the Gulf Shores youth sports program for the past five years.
Ann Marsengill has 14 years experience teaching in Christian preschools.
Caterpillars--3 year olds:
Charlotte Green is a graduate of the University of South Alabama with a B.S. in Early Childhood Education. She served on the Holy Spirit Day School Board of directors and was instrumental in the formation of the day school.
Butterflies--4 year olds
Lisa Harrison is a graduate of Auburn University with a BS in Early Childhood Education. She has 18 years experience teaching pre K to 3rd grade.
Dragonflies--4 year olds
Gitchin Corliss is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a BS in Education with a double major in Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. She has 11 years experience teaching pre K to 5th grade. She is currently working on her master's degree.
Extended Care
Sue Ann Boone has 18 years experience as a teacher and has served as director of an area preschool. She will provide extended care for our 4 year olds.
Britney Cheatham is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a B.S.W. of Social Work and Counseling. She is also a certified AFAA personal trainer. She will provide extended care for our 3 year olds.
Director
Barbara Coats is a graduate of the University of West Florida with a BA in Mathematics and Secondary Education. She has been the director of the day school for 4 years. She continues to attend classes and workshops to keep the school current with the changes in educational trends in preschools.
Assistant Director
Morgen Szapiel is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a B.A. in Early Childhood Education and certifications in Elementary Education and Library Science. She has 26 years of experience teaching 2 year olds to K-5.
